- February 28, 2001- Oak gets t'd up in a Raps win over the Cavs. Oakley drew a technical foul in the 2nd quarter for throwing the ball in the direction of the ref. "I threw the guy the ball, and he's going to duck like I threw the ball so... hard? I don't know," was Oak's explanation after the game.
Last night good ol' Patrick Ewing returned to MSG. Here's a forboding quote from 1993 that Patrick said about Oakley:
"He's my hit man. He keeps people off my back. He might not be appreciated by everybody, but I definitely appreciate him. If they ever trade Charles Oakley, they're going to have to trade me."
- February 22, 2001- The big story that's causing much consternation around the league (no not the Theo Ratliff or Mark Jackson trade)- Oakley alleges that 60% of the players in the NBA smoke marijuana. Here's the New York Post article that started it all.

- February 18, 2001- 7 points, 7 boards in a loss to the Spurs. Oak accidentally inflicts a bloody gash above the left eye of Samaki Walker requiring stitches.
- February 6, 2001- Oakley with 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Raps cool down the Celtics. Oak's thoughts: "I'm happy when we play good defense and win. We want to win seven or eight in a row and make some space in the East. To do that, we have to buckle down and play hard. My shots were falling tonight."
